CareLink™ Connect 3.5.0

Now you can follow up to five people simultaneously. The CareLink™ Connect app, available on your smartphone, offers a convenient way to monitor the sensor glucose levels of individuals using select Medtronic diabetes devices.

If you have a family member or friend managing diabetes, supporting and keeping close tabs on them becomes essential. You may need to monitor if their glucose levels fluctuate significantly, and have quick access to their insulin pump or Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system data.

To remotely track sensor glucose levels or pump system information, caregivers must download the CareLink™ Connect app on their smartphones. Moreover, the individual with diabetes should have a compatible MiniMed™ insulin pump or CGM linked to the CareLink™ software through the corresponding patient mobile app. For further details regarding the CareLink™ Connect app, please refer to the official Medtronic website or contact a representative.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For real-time updates, the app must consistently receive data from the CareLink™ server while the insulin pump or CGM system must continuously upload data to the CareLink™ server. The CareLink™ Connect app exclusively supports the MiniMed ™ 700-series insulin pump and specific CGM systems but does not cater to all CGM systems, MiniMed™, or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. The CareLink™ Connect app aims to offer a secondary display of insulin pump and CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) data on supported mobile devices. It is not designed to replace the real-time display of data on the primary device; thus, all treatment decisions should rely on the primary display device.

The CareLink™ Connect app is not meant to analyze or alter the received insulin pump and CGM data or control any functions of the connected systems. It does not receive data directly from the devices.
